Airbags Don't Deploy In Low-speed Accidents?

If an airbag deploys in a low speed impact, its effectiveness in a subsequent severe collisions will be lost. An airbag can only deploy once, it will not re-deploy in a second impact, as shown in the illustration.
Driver and passenger seat SRS airbags may not demonstrate their effectiveness even if deployed in instances such as the following conditions.
