Car Won't Start When Engine Is Very Hot

When the car engine is extremely hot, the engine does not start.

Diagnosing car won't start: An extremely hot engine will not start, an engine becomes hot because the heat of the engine itself radiates outward to other components including a component called solenoid, and this component is a switch that turns on the starter when an ignition key is turned on. If the solenoid is too hot it fails that resulted into engine not starting.

Possible Cause of Car Problem

Solenoid too hot

All about car Recommendation:

First thing to do with this kind of situation is to wait until the engine cools off then start again. To prevent it from happening again, you may consider installing a heat shield around the solenoid thus preventing solenoid from getting too hot especially during summer days.
