Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding Procedure

Equipment necessary for bleeding hydraulic clutch:

(1) Transparent vinyl hose
(2) Reservoir
(3) Clutch Fluid.

Required Personnel: 2 persons

How to Bleed Hydraulic Clutch

(1) Monitor the clutch fluid level on the reservoir tank to make sure that it will not become empty while bleeding.

(2) Keep all painted surface and parts free of clutch fluid, wipe and wash with water immediately if it comes contact with the clutch fluid.

Clutch Air Bleeding Procedure:

Step 1. Fill in the reservoir tank with a new clutch fluid. Refer to your car owner’s manual for the location of the clutch reservoir tank.

Step 2. Connect a transparent vinyl hose to the air bleeder valve.

Step 3. Depressed the clutch pedal slowly and fully several times at an interval of 2 to 3 seconds then hold.

Step 4. With the clutch pedal is being depressed, open the air bleeder valve to release the air.

Step 5. Close the air bleeder valve.

Step 6. Released the clutch pedal and wait for 5 seconds.

Step 7. Repeat step 3 to 6 until there is no bubbles can be observed in clutch fluid.

Step 8. Tighten the air bleeder valve.
